I wrote this blessing because it is really important to think kind, affirming thoughts about all parts of ourselves. We often view parts of ourselves as weak or not good enough, but the more we can think kind thoughts about ourselves and affirm to all parts of ourselves that we are as whole and complete as everyone else on the planet, the more we can start to heal and love the parts of ourselves that we may not like.
Unpleasant thoughts or emotions are often coming from a place of fear – usually some part of us is not sure if we are going to be ok. If that sounds a little weird (or maybe even really far out!), know that that’s ok too. Life can be traumatic and it takes repetition to remind your brain and your body that you are in fact, OK.
